Adwaith, Alfarabi, Hafiz and Edward were pretty keen to show off their ‘Minecraft Town’ they made in free time 🙂
We had an AWESOME time at CERES! Learning about: sustainability, our environment, where our food comes from and much more. We got to play games, feed chickens, go to the park and enjoy the wonderful scenery 🙂
This Friday some of the students got to spend some time making different tessellated patterns 🙂
Here, students get to explore different symmetrical patterns whilst having fun.
– Mr. M
We used a compass to write directions to get from one place to another!
Today we were brainstorming where we use fractions. Have a look at our amazon discoveries from our discussion!
To support our engineering space, we ha a workshop today to explore measuring the distance that our paper planes go. Things did not go to plan! We had to discuss variables – what alters the distance of our paper plane distances?
We came up with 3:
* wind / air
We had lots of struggles with the wind! We wondered, what would be the perfect weather conditions to fly a paper plane? After looking at the weather app, we found out that the temperature was 13.5 degrees, it forecasted rain and the wind was traveling at 24km from the west.
Wow! We have been exploring what we can add together to make a whole.
